## Mark as spam

- Clicking on an unsubscribe link in a spam email might confirm to spammers that your email address is active and could result in even more spam
- It could also share data about your device, which could potentially be used to devise cyberattacks against you
- The best way to get rid of junk mail is to mark the message as spam

## Safely unsubscribe

- When you use the "Mark as Spam” function, any emails you receive from that sender in the future will be automatically sent to your junk folder
